Turenna succeeds José Antonio Postigo Uribe, who has been the Mexico City Office’s Managing Partner since August 2018. With this new position Turenna will be part of our Management Committee jointly with Ricardo León, the Firm’s Managing Partner and Rafael Villamar, Monterrey’s Office Managing Partner. |

Turenna joined the Firm in 2009 to head -firm’s International Trade and Customs Practice. She is currently Co-Chair of the International Trade and Customs Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). She is ranked by Chambers & Partners Global and LATAM, Legal 500, Who’s Who, as one of the main referrals in the legal market in her practice of expertise. |

Actualmente es Co-Chair del Comité de Comercio Internacional y Aduanas de la International Bar Association (IBA). She has more than 23 years of experience advising multinational and national companies on cross-border transactions related to international trade and customs including legal design and implementation of trade business strategies, complex customs audits, litigation and compliance programs, rules of origin verifications, multilateral treaties, IMMEX, Mexican Official Standards analysis and negotiations in sensitive sectors. She has participated in complex, high-visibility foreign trade matters, including trade facilitation negotiations with the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization. Turenna has a diverse client base including sectors and industries in major economic activities. |
Cuenta con más de 23 años de experiencia asesorando a empresas multinacionales y nacionales en operaciones de comercio internacional y aduanas, incluyendo el diseño legal e implementación de estrategias comerciales, atención de complejas auditorías de comercio exterior, litigio, verificaciones de origen, tratados multilaterales, IMMEX, análisis y negociación de Normas Oficiales Mexicanas en industrias sensibles. Ha participado en asuntos de alta visibilidad como la negociación de programas de facilitación comercial con el Secretario General de la Organización Mundial de Aduanas. Turenna maneja una amplia base de clientes incluyendo sectores e industrias de las más relevantes actividades económicas. |
